How To Become a Drifter?

Have you ever heard of drifters before? Drifters are people who travel all over the world by themselves. Regardless of what you may have heard about drifters before, one thing is certain – becoming one is not an easy task. You need to know that being a drifter is not really the safest hobby out there, and even if you still decide to become one, just remember that you might feel pretty lonely along the way.

That being said, why would anyone want to become a drifter? Drifters do what they do because they love it! They enjoy meeting new people, exploring new places, and just experiencing new things in general. But before you make a rush decision to become a drifter yourself, you need to remember one thing – becoming a drifter requires a whole lot of mental, as well as physical preparation. So, do you think that you are ready for this kind of stuff? If you do, then we must congratulate you!

Know the Rules

One thing that drifters do on a constant basis is travel. They travel almost every single day, which basically means that they almost never spend two or more days in one place. We all know that different places have different rules, right? That being said, it is very important for you to know the rules of the place that you are going to be visiting. You wouldn’t want to run into any trouble with the law, would you? There are many laws out there that don’t really support the idea of sleeping outdoors, which means that you should find a nice hotel instead.

Carry Everything in Your Backpack

You should try to put as much stuff as you can into your travel backpack. However, make sure not to overpack, because overpacking is never a good idea! If you don’t already have some sort of a durable backpack, you should definitely buy one before hitting the road. It will be very helpful throughout the entire trip.

Set Up a Tent

Granted, there is a lot of laws out there that wouldn’t allow you to set up a tent in the middle of a street or anything like that. However, not every law is like that. With that said, if you ever happen to be stuck in a city with no place to spend the night in, feel free to set up a tent – but only if the law actually allows that kind of stuff.

How To Maximize Your Vacation Time the Right Way

There are many people out there who think that they don’t have enough free time to do anything significant in their lives, isn’t that right? Unfortunately, it is. But even though there is a lot of people who believe that this is true, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is actually true. In fact, it is far from being the real truth here. One important thing that you need to remember here is that time moves fast, and for some people out there, it moves so fast that they simply can’t catch up with it. And with every new year that comes our way, time seems to move faster than it did the year before, and it just never slows down. It is pretty much safe to say that one of the main reasons why so many people don’t travel as often as they would like to is because they just don’t have the time to do it – either that or they just don’t have enough money to cover everything that is involved in travel.

Now, don’t get us wrong, there are some people out there who work 9-to-5 jobs that just don’t allow them to travel as often as they would like to. However, that still doesn’t mean that they can’t travel at all, because they can – they just need to know when and how to do it. With this in mind, if you have found a way to become your own boss, and as a result of that you can travel whenever you want, you should consider yourself lucky, because not everyone can say that about themselves, you know? That being said, here are three simple things that you can do to maximize your vacation time!

Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown

Did you know that it is actually possible for you to be a tourist in your own hometown? Yes, you read that right! You probably still haven’t explored your city to its fullest, have you? Well, you can use your vacation time to do just that.

Visit a Nearby City

You don’t have to travel halfway around the world to be able to call yourself a tourist. Visiting a nearby city is always an option, you know? That being said, if you want to travel, but you only have a week off, be sure to pick a destination that is not too far away from the city that you live in.

Weekend Getaways

If your boss gave you a permission to take a weekend off, be sure to use that time wisely. For example, you can use that time to visit a nearby place that you have never been to in your entire life. We all know that two days isn’t a lot of time, right? Well, having two days off is better than having no days off!
